Our Vision

To operate an inclusive community center - one in which connections and friendships are made, purpose is found, and opportunities abound. We endeavor to experiment, grow, and incorporate community-wide programs and services of employment, health, recreation, and education primarily designed for older adults.

Core Values

COMMUNITYWe build community for our clients, volunteers, and fellow employees by providing spaces to foster real connections and friendships within and between generations, especially for older adults.

INCLUSION - We respect, embrace, and celebrate differences in skills, abilities, age, cultural heritage, ethnicity, gender, religion, and more, so that every person can be their authentic self and feel as though they truly belong.

COMPASSION - We ensure that kindness is at the forefront of every interaction between clients, volunteers, and fellow colleagues. We lead with compassionate curiosity and prioritize creating safe spaces to make mistakes, learn, and grow.

SERVICE - We take great pride in serving our community, and we strive each day to continually improve the quality of our organization. We are committed to providing impactful programs, collaborating and connecting our community with other local organizations where beneficial, and going out of our way to support everyone who places their trust in us.

DIGNITY - We aim to foster a sense of dignity within our community of varied abilities and ages. Our focus is on assisting older adults to thrive as they navigate  the normal aging process with the ultimate goal of helping them to continue to live independent, high-quality lives at home.

By implementing inclusive outreach and programming, we foster a culture of inclusion where we value and leverage differences to engage our volunteers and employees and connect with our clients.
